Founded
in 1990, Zingeworld specializes in the acquisition, preservation
and sale of rare and unusual antique carpets form the farthest
regions of China, with a special emphasis on the truly difficult
to find carpets of China's nomadic peoples. To make this possible,
our partners, David Chen and Zhong Wei, spend at least four
months of each year living with and helping to improve the
lives of many of China's minority peoples in Tibet, Qinghai,
Gansu and Mongolia through the purchase of their older carpets.
Our partners have made over 100 friends from diverse ethnic
groups including the Zang, Hui, Mongol and Man nations further
adding to the richness of supply of our carpets.
Our website is your window to our fine carpets for sale. It
is also your opportunity to see where these carpets originate
and to meet some of the wonderful people that we have met

Zingeworld
is very pleased to announce that our partner, Louise, will
be moving to San Francisco in the spring of 2003 to expand
our business in the United States. She and our American partner,
Mark Weinberg, have brought with them a limited inventory
of rare and antique Tibetan, Khotan, Ningxia and Mongolian
carpets which are available for viewing and purchase on an
appointment basis. This is a wonderful opportunity to purchase
quality antique carpets directly from one of the largest antique
carpet dealers in China without the expense of a visit to
Beijing. Our inventory in San Francisco will continue to selectively
expand to include only the best of collector-level carpets
directly imported from our successful and continuing Beijing
